The 2nd International Young Talent Music Competition begins!​

Odeabank is supporting the 2nd International Young Talent Music Competition this year, which has been organized in 25 countries for 46 years and Turkey attended for the first time in 2015. The applicants can compete in the Piano category organized for ages 9-13 and 14-18 years old, or represent themselves playing any instrument or singing a song in the Special Category.

The second “International Young Talent Music Competition” organized by BT Music and Performing Arts is supported by Odeabank, the young and innovative bank of Turkey. Applications to the competition, which aims to reinforce the position of music studies in national education and underline the academic and personal gains of music studies by bringing together the young talents of the country, can be made until April 30, 2016.

The competition, which aims encourage and to foster the confidence and sense of accomplishment of tomorrow's leaders who express themselves through music, as well as creating an international performance platform for them, will take place in the Piano main category in two stages. The first stage of the competition, which is organized for age groups of 9-13 and, 14-18 and a “special category” for children with special needs, will determine the finalists with online public and jury votes. The second stage will be the finals where the contestants will perform live on stage in Istanbul for jury votes.

The finals of the competition will take place in Beşiktaş Municipality Akatlar Cultural Center on June 3-4-5. More information on the competition can be found at: www.ugy-istanbul.com​​
